Daughter of CEO and CFO Glenn and Paula Therrien, Sarah has been involved with Kitchen Corps since the very start. She joined the company 14 years ago and has since then navigated to almost every position within Kitchen Corps from Receptionist, Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk, Human Resources, Purchasing Clerk, Operations Manager, and now currently the Sales Manager. We asked her a few questions to get to know her better:
How did you first learn about Kitchen Corps?
I am the oldest daughter of the owners, Paula and Glenn Therrien, I have been involved some way or another since the very beginning almost 20 years ago.
What is your role and responsibilities with Kitchen Corps?
I am the only Sales Representative for Kitchen Corps. I handle all of the quotes, proposals, and negotiations for potential temporary kitchen clients. With the help of my team we come up with the best design and solution for clients. Additionally, I handle all Accounts Receivables.
If you could switch your job with anyone else within Kitchen Corps, whose job would you want and why?
I would want to switch with Glenn, my father, so that I could get the opportunity to work on the business planning and administration of the company. I’m not saying it would be easy but it is certainly something I would be interested in completing.
What are 3 words to describe Kitchen Corps?
Family, Passionate, Tenacious
Favorite project you’ve worked on with Kitchen Corps and why?
University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. This project was my favorite because from the beginning we were able to design and build two different facilities. The second being the largest temporary modular kitchen facility I have ever seen.
Proudest moment at Kitchen Corps?
The fast turnaround for disaster relief projects such as a university dining facility that completely burned to the ground overnight and Kitchen Corps had a functioning 2500 sqft temporary kitchen facility in place in one week for the students return after spring break.

I want to one day go into a cage and dive with a great white shark!

All food of course! But if I had to choose one it would be Pizza.
