Kitchen Corps’ decision to streamline its Man Camp temporary kitchen model to include only temporary kitchens and dining facilities turned into a nice benefit for a Norfolk, Va., Union Mission Men’s Shelter.
Kitchen Corps recently donated to the Union Mission 35 beds and 50 lockers that were either brand new or slightly used.
“We love to help our local community when we can,” said Kitchen Corps Sales Manager Sarah Rogers.
“We know that funding for Union Missions is scarce, yet what they provide is so important. Giving part of their facility a face lift with new beds and lockers was well received by all, and Kitchen Corps was thrilled to do it.”
The temporary kitchen company is also active in raising funds and providing donations to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
